I followed world-renowned Sum 41 drummer Frank Zummo across the West Coast, capturing his workshop tour through School of Rock locations as a one-person documentary crew. From pre-production through post, I handled every aspect of production—shooting on location, recording clean audio in unpredictable environments, conducting interviews, and navigating the logistical chaos of filming during COVID restrictions.
Working under tight time and budget constraints, I edited the entire documentary solo, cutting footage, scoring with music, designing sound, and executing color and audio mastering. The film was featured in Billboard, proving that stripped-down, resourceful filmmaking can punch above its weight when the story and execution connect.
